Join a guided tour and experience a unique side of the National Theatre! Discover our workshops, stages and historical, cultural heritage locations like the Royal lounge and the actors lounge.  Our guides will take you on a fascinating tour of the National Theatre, bringing the space to life with colourful stories from when the theatre was built in 1899 and how artists and playwrites like Henrik Ibsen and Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson influenced the theatre, and even the society. Welcome! The theatre has limited access to elevators etc. Please let us know if you need assistance of any kind, by e-mailing tour@nationaltheatret.no Tours are in English and last approximately 50-60 minutes.
