"Konsert" på Oslo Konserthus
Lucas Krupinski – Piano Recital Polish pianist and Steinway Artist Lucas Krupinski returns to Norway for his Oslo Konserthus debut with a program that moves between shimmering minimalism, the poetry of Chopin, the impressionist brilliance of Ravel, and Scriabin’s passion. Known for his refined lyricism, poetic tone, and depth of expression, Krupinski has enchanted audiences from Carnegie Hall to the Royal Albert Hall, and now brings his artistry to Oslo’s most prestigious stage. The evening begins with the meditative stillness of Philip Glass’s Glassworks: Opening, before stepping into Chopin’s world – the gentle lyricism of the Nocturne in F major, Op. 15 No. 1 followed by the grand, dramatic Fantaisie in F minor, Op. 49. From there, the music shifts to France, with Maurice Ravel’s Jeux d’eau, sparkling and flowing like water in sunlight, and the refined elegance of his Sonatina. The recital closes with Alexander Scriabin’s Fantaisie in B minor, Op. 28, a work of rich harmonies and sweeping intensity. Lucas Krupinski has appeared on many of the world’s great stages – from Carnegie Hall and the Royal Albert Hall to La Fenice and Salle Cortot. Winner of the Grand Prix at the San Marino International Piano Competition and a finalist at the Busoni, Leeds, and Chopin competitions, he has performed with leading orchestras across Europe, Asia, and the America. For Oslo audiences, this recital promises a journey across musical landscapes – from the hypnotic simplicity of Glass to the romantic spirit of Chopin, the luminous textures of Ravel, and Scriabin’s emotional fire.
