The members of this band, led by pianist David Skinner, are among the very best swing jazz musicians in Oslo. They share one common goal: to swing so hard that no one in the audience can sit still. But great swing music is about contrast, and this is where the band truly shines. The group features outstanding soloists, near-telepathic communication, and dynamic range. The music spans from subtle, gentle swing to high-energy virtuosity, with all kinds of rhythmic interplay and musical humor along the way. Yes, we got a large hard wood dance floor to swing or be swung-out on, as well as cafe style seating.
