Traditionally, drag has stood for "Dressed Resembling A Girl", but what if we changed it to "Dressed Resembling Any Gender"? What would happen then – and what does the future of drag look like? In this show, we explore exactly these questions. Ten incredible artists, representing diverse gender identities, ethnicities, and drag expressions, take the stage – from performers who master the classic drag craft to those who challenge the conventions of the genre. Together, they push the boundaries of what drag can be, who can perform it, and the norms that define the drag scene. Expect everything! Lipsync, dance, dazzling costumes and lighting, live singing, movement exploration, burlesque, pole dance – and, above all, art that challenges both society's and drag's own norms and expectations. The evening will be hosted by our eminent drag guru, Elektra Puzzz. Performing artists: Bleach Boo-Boo (Alexander Emanuel Weel Hem) – Dancer and drag veteran who blends traditional drag with contemporary dance to explore queer identity. Huffda (Sofie Lauritzen) – Actor and director who challenges gender expectations with energy and playfulness. Lola Rayne (Aron Kamber Brumer Bratvold Lona Altinpinar) – Musical theatre performer breaking the lipsync tradition with their own voice, music, and movement. Mani Pakwan (Carl Joseph Aquilizan) – Norwegian-Filipino dancer and choreographer offering a non-Western drag perspective. Owl (Marie Haugen) – Visual artist creating scenography, costumes, and projections that tell queer narratives. Pheromone (Fortune Ativi, they/them – 22) is a Norwegian/Ghanaian non-binary trans person and Black drag artist from Grorud. A self-taught dancer with roots in Afro dance, they challenge gender norms and explore non-binary expression. Prince Orlando Malbec (Jorge Lera) – Multidisciplinary artist and pole dance master combining acrobatics, dance, and storytelling. Varun Narain – International puppeteer and performance artist who explores drag when the performer is not a person, but an object. Vince Velvet (Lizzie Bjerke) – Trans man and Drag King exploring the nuances of masculinity through theatre and humour. Åshild Løvvig – Actor, drag, and burlesque artist investigating the grotesque and social structures through art. The performance is part of Norway's largest international seminar on the art of drag, The Art of Drag Seminar, held earlier the same day from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM at OsloMet (Pilestredet 32). Tickets to the seminar automatically include entry to the evening show. As an introduction, there will be a short panel discussion on drag's societal potential featuring some of the seminar speakers. I dette showet utforsker vi nettopp disse spørsmålene. Ti fantastiske artister, med ulik kjønnsidentitet, etnisitet og draguttrykk, står på scenen – fra utøvere som mestrer det klassiske drag-håndverket til dem som utfordrer sjangerens konvensjoner. Sammen flytter de grenser for hva drag kan være, hvem som kan utøve det og hvilke normer som gjelder i dragfeltet. Her får du alt! Lipsync, dans, blendende kostymer og lys, livesang, utforskning av bevegelser, burlesk, pole dance – og ikke minst kunst som utfordrer både samfunnets og draggens egne normer og forventninger. Kvelden ledes av vår eminente drag-guru, Elektra Puzzz. Medvirkende artister: Bleach Boo-Boo (Alexander Emanuel Weel Hem) – Danser og dragveteran som kombinerer tradisjonell drag med samtidsdans for å utforske skeiv identitet. Huffda (Sofie Lauritzen) – Skuespiller og regissør som utfordrer kjønnsforventninger med energi og lekenhet. Lola Rayne (Aron Kamber Brumer Bratvold Lona Altinpinar) – Musikalartist som bryter lipsync-tradisjonen med egen stemme, musikk og bevegelse. Mani Pakwan (Carl Joseph Aquilizan) – Norsk-filippinsk danser og koreograf som gir et ikke-vestlig dragperspektiv. Owl (Marie Haugen) – Visuell kunstner som skaper scenografi, kostymer og projeksjoner med skeive narrativer. Pheromone (Fortune Ama Dion Ativi) – Pheromone - norsk/ghanesisk ikke-binær transperson og svart dragartist fra Grorud. Selvlært danser med røtter i afrodans, som utfordrer kjønnsnormer og utforsker det ikke-binære uttrykket. Prince Orlando Malbec (Jorge Lera) – Multikunstner og pole dance-mester som kombinerer akrobatikk og historiefortelling. Varun Narain – Internasjonal dukkespiller og performancekunstner som utforsker drag når utøveren ikke er mennesket, men objektet. Vince Velvet (Lizzie Bjerke) – Transmann og Drag King som leker med maskulinitetens nyanser gjennom teater og humor. Åshild Løvvig – Skuespiller, drag- og burleskartist som undersøker det frastøtende og sosiale strukturer i kunsten.
